"I placed it in the chicken pen a week or so ago where we have a problem with rats. We have 6 chickens and 4 ducks and rats are around during the day. The council have been putting poison down for the past 6 months. Yesterday I saw a rat run towards the repeller and knock it over. In an old greenhouse with the door open I have 2 metal dustbins with chicken food in. Squirrels take the lids off even they're jammed under a bench. The repeller is about 5 metres away but the squirrels are undeterred. I'm reluctant to turn the sound up any more as we have a cat and dogs."

"I purchased the outdoor pest repeller device a few weeks ago and it functions fine (i.e. it emits the ultra sound every time there is a motion in front of it). However, the device simply had no effect on neither rats nor foxes. I saw a rat in daylight running happily under the device back and forth. I also saw traces or foxes in the garden after the installation of the device so they didn't seem to be bothered by it neither. All I could say is that I had to go back to the more traditional services provided by pest control services with poison rat boxes etc. kind regards "

"Dear Primrose, At the moment the rat repeller does not seem to be doing its job. This morning I went into my feed room and the rats had eaten through plastic feed bags. I have now re-arranged the feed room putting most of the bags into an old freezer but had to leave 3 on the top of the freezer as had no room inside. I have put the repeller in a different place and hopefully it will do its job. Many thanks Christine Osborne"
